Umpun-umpun is usually used for fishing bait is basically Marine Worms ('Umpun-umpun' in Malay). They are either lugworms or ragworms in English, more likely lugworms.

From the research in internet, Umpun-umpun also has various types:
Umpun-umpun atau ada yang memanggilnya perumpun merupakan umpan yang sangat mujarab khususnya untuk pancingan di muara atau air payau. Sebagaimana ikan, spesies umpun-umpun turut memiliki pelbagai spesies.

1. Umpun Sarung/Sarang
Umpun sarung merupakan sejenis umpan yang paling popular untuk sukan memancing. Umpun sarung biasanya mendiami kawasan berpaya bakau dan berlumpur. Umpan ini begitu unik sekali kerana ianya tidak seperti umpun-umpun yang lain, di mana ianya bersembunyi di dalam sarangnya yang berwarna hitam.

2. Umpun Ruat
Dikatakan umpan jenis ini juga hidup di kawasan berbakau yang bertanah keras. Berbeza seperti umpun sarung yang lebih liat, umpun ruat mempunyai badan yang lembut. Oleh itu, ianya amat mudah sekali hancur apabila digetu sang ikan. Namun, umpan jenis ini begitu digemari oleh spesies semilang, belukang, duri dan gelama.

3. Umpun Pasir
Kebiasaannya umpun jenis ini senang ditemui di kawasan yang mempunyai pasir yang kasar. Untuk mendapatkan saiz umpun pasir yang lebih kasar, teknik menangkap menggunakan tangan amat popular. Biasanya, belacan atau ikan busuk sering digunakan untuk menarik perhatian umpun ini keluar dari pasir dan  tangan haruslah sepantas yang mungkin untuk menarik umpan ini. Spesies target yang sering terpedaya dengan umpan pasir ini ialah bebolos, gelama dan daun baru.

4. Umpun Beting/Merah
Umpun beting atau merah kelihatan agak sama dengan umpun ruat. Namun, saiznya lebih kecil dan badannya lebih anjal daripada umpun ruat. Umpun jenis ini begitu mudah di cari terutama di kawasan yang berbeting pasir. Hanya perlu menunggu air surut sepenuhnya, dan cari mata atau tompok berwarna biru kehitaman di beting tersebut dan galilah di kawasan itu.

5. Umpun Jangkau
Ia biasanya berwarna kuning kemerahan dan ada yang kuning kehitaman dan mempunyai kaki yang banyak. Seperti umpun beting,  ia menjadikan kawasan berbeting pasir sebagai habitat semula jadi nya. Biasanya untuk mencari umpun ini, perlulah menggunakan mata tiga dan gali di sekitar beting pasir. Namun jangan terkejut, spesies umpun jangkau ini begitu digemari oleh pelbagai spesies ikan.

6. Umpun Nipah
Tidak kiralah sungai mahupun laut, umpun nipah sering menjadi pilihan kaki pancing. Umpun nipah dikatakan boleh bertahan begitu lama terutama jika pemancing menyimpannya di tempat yang sesuai. Suatu teknik yang mudah untuk memastikan umpun jenis ini tahan lebih lama ialah dengan menggunakan bahagian dari ekor terlebih dahulu dan akhirnya barulah menggunakan bahagian kepala

Be a Better Husband 
The key to reinvigorating your marriage isn't as hard you might think


You know how the story goes between couples: Over time, husband and wives become a little too familiar, and stop showing each other how much they care. You don't hold her hand; she's not very interested in sex. Meaningless arguments become common. Suddenly, you're living more like annoyed roommates than passionate lovers. But here's the good news: You can turn back to the clock to the way it once was. It just takes a little effort, and it starts with you. Use these 6 strategies to be the man of her dreams once again.
  1. Compliment Her in Public
  2. Tell her how great her body looks. "If a woman's body image is low," says Love, "she'll feel less passionate and sexual." But here's the key: Do it in public. "It'll emphasize your commitment," says Patricia Love, Ed.D., the appropriately named coauthor of How to Improve Your Marriage Without Talking About It. "Making her feel more secure and ultimately improving her body image."

  3. Show Some Effort
  4. One of the best things about women is that they really appreciate the smallest sign that you're trying. And that you respect what they do. Here's a strategy: Try walking into a room with the mindset of the person (your wife) who spends a good chunk of time cleaning it. Ask yourself, "If I were a neat freak, what would bother me in here?" Suddenly, the unwashed coffee cup on the counter, the kids' sneakers under the table, and the metro section crumpled on the couch will reveal themselves to you. Act accordingly: It'll take just seconds, but over time, the payoff can be exponential.

  5. Lock Lips Every Morning
  6. Don't walk out the door without a see-you-later kiss. "Skin-on-skin contact releases oxytocin, which lowers stress and makes you feel connected," says Love. "When a man is touch-deprived, this need becomes sexualized, making his wife think he just wants sex, and creating more tension." You only need to set aside 1 minute a day. "It takes just a few seconds of skin-on-skin contact a few times a day to start oxytocin production," says Love. A kiss in the morning, a hug after work, and another kiss before bed can produce a lasting feeling of intimacy.

  7. Put Your Hands on Her
  8. Nonsexual touch is a potent, underused endorsement of another soul. As you pass by her on the way to the living room, give her upper arm a quick, affectionate double squeeze. As you're walking into a party or to your table, put a guiding hand, lightly but surely, on her lower back. When she's standing at the sink doing the dishes, come up behind her and give her a kiss on the back of her head. But don't linger or give the hint of pelvic urge. In a recent Montclair State University study of nearly 7,000 married couples, sexual frequency increased 0.06 percent a year for every 1 percent increase in weekly housework that husbands handled. The average woman without kids does 10 hours more housework a week than her husband. If you picked up just 5 additional hours, it would yield nine additional romps in the hay each year, so grab a dishrag already. "Too much housework, like anything that causes stress, decreases blood flow to the genitals," says Love. "Approach her at the sink and say, 'I'll take care of that.' Your reward will come later." And besides: Who decided that she has to empty the dishwasher?

  11. Laugh at Her
  12. Among the most affirming things one person can do for another is to laugh at the other's attempts at humor. Lots of husbands, over time, forget this salute. What's that you say? Your wife isn't funny? So what? Neither is your dolt of a boss, but you laugh at his lame attempts. Why? Because you're trying to prove you respect him. Bingo! One of the biggest dangers mature marriages face is that Homer and Marge stop trying to demonstrate their respect for each other. Laughter is tonic for a woman's woes. Keep it on display.

  1. Build Capital

    Flowers, foot rubs, and any other gestures of goodwill are best extended when they're least expected. Just crashed her car? Call Maaco, not 1-800-flowers—digging yourself out of a hole gains you zero emotional capital. Spontaneous and unwarranted acts of kindness come next in the hierarchy—she'll feel reassured that the relationship is sound—but it's when she just plowed your car into a shopping cart that your kindness will pack the most punch.   2. Flirt Like She's Watching

    Seasoned veterans have learned the limits the hard way. Here's a simple rule: Never say anything to another woman that you wouldn't want your significant other to hear. So, what if you're at a party and you realize you've been talking to a smoldering brunette for 20 minutes? Consider the line crossed. Cut off the hot chick (midsentence, if necessary) and move back over to your lady. Fess up (a simple "sorry" is enough) and make nice. Acknowledging a mistake starts to undo it.

  6. Help Assess Her Dress

    Any formal event or social engagement involving friends or family she hasn't met means you have to pony up three crucial pieces of information: who will be there, what they will be wearing, and what everyone will be doing. Tell her at least a week in advance. Want extra credit? Look up the weather.

  7. Don't Force Your Friends on Her

    She hates Joe. But Joe is a great guy—I mean, come on, he's the friend who took down that bottle of Goldschlager and streaked through the dining hall your freshman year. Exactly, she's thinking. So compromise. You can go out with Joe; just don't bring him home. And meet Joe out with her once in a while. But agree in advance that when she's had it with him, she can give you a signal (the ear tug, the hair toss, the neck rub) and you'll acquiesce. She'll love that you let her take the social reins.

  8. Choose Jealousy Wisely

    Odds are, she's not thinking of her ex-boyfriend every time she wears the sweater he bought her 5 years ago. It's just warm. It's cashmere, for Pete's sake. But she also probably wasn't just looking for companionship if she stumbles in at 4 a.m. after a trip to his apartment to return some CDs. Ration your response: Suck it up if you're inventing the cause of jealousy; stand your ground if you're not. Remember: She loves you more than you know. And she definitely loves you more than she loves her ex.

It was a big day for him. He had to present the annual presentation for which he had worked really hard. But when it was his turn to speak in front of his office boss as well as the representatives from all over the world, he felt numb. He was absolutely tongue tied and he was sweating profusely. As he walked towards the front of the table, he felt as if his legs were made out of jelly and that they would give him away any moment. He looked at all the important clients but all he could see was absolute darkness. He could hear someone giving a tiny laugh and that scared him further. "People are laughing at me because I look stupid" he thought. He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. He was scared of opening his mouth in public.

If I am not wrong, this is the case with many people, specially school going kids or young adults. Some people would rather be locked in a box with hundred live snakes rather than speak in public. They are afraid of being ridiculed in front of everyone. I myself have faced several situations like this and guess what, I still do. This fear of speaking in public is called Glossophobia which has been derived from the Greek word Glosso which means 'tongue' and Phobos, which means 'fear'. But one needs to learn the ways of overcoming fears of public speaking, as someday or the other, we need to speak in public. Are you ready to learn how to get rid of this fear? Public Speaking Tips and Techniques

No Written Speech Please
Some people have the habit of reading out the entire speech from a piece of paper. Do not do that. That would only make your audience go off to sleep. Make small notes and keep it with you and refer to it from time to time, but most of the time look at the audience while speaking.

Admit About Your Nervousness
There are some more public speaking tips for kids as well as for adults. Almost everyone suffers from anxiety of public speaking, hence there is no harm in admitting to the audience that you are a bit nervous. I am sure they will try and cooperate with you and that is sure to help you.

D-Day
Some other important public speaking tips and tricks are that you reach the place where you have to give your speech at least half an hour before. When it's time for you to give the speech, take in deep breaths and just try and remember whatever you had prepared. Look at the audience and smile. That will surely do wonders for you. While speaking, don't look at anyone's face, instead focus on a pillar or maybe something that is expression less, slowly count till 10 and then start off with full confidence. If you skip a point, instead of worrying about that just continue and try and sound convincing.

Skin



Carrots are loaded with vitamin A, which helps balance the pH of your skin's surface, making it just acidic enough to fend off harmful bacteria. Plus National Cancer Institute researchers found that people with the highest intakes of carotenoids—pigments that occur naturally in carrots—were six times less likely to develop skin cancer than those with the lower intakes.

Hair


Low iron levels can lead to baldness, according to a Cleveland Clinic review. Researchers looked at 11 studies on the relationship between iron intake and hair loss, and concluded that treating iron deficiency may help regrow hair. Feed your mane iron-packed foods such as lean red meat, turkey, egg yolks, dried beans, dried fruit, whole grains.


Eyes


The National Institute of Health found that people who consume the most lutein—a carotenoid found in plant foods—are 43 percent less likely to develop macular degeneration. Lutein helps filter blue light, preventing it from damaging retinal tissues. Eat two servings of greens each day. Consider one serving to be ½ cup of cooked spinach, broccoli, or brussels sprouts.

Heart

Cornell University researchers found that eating one Red Delicious apple a day can block LDL oxidation, resulting in an 8 percent drop in levels. Bonus: Apples (and their skins) contain soluble fiber, the kind that scrubs artery walls clean. Cut one up and mix it into your oatmeal, another top source.


Muscles


To maximize muscle growth, you need the right raw materials. Beef is the perfect muscle food because it's packed with protein, zinc, and creatine. Down a hefty portion of each with this taco-salad recipe from Men's Health cover model Gregg Avedon:

Brown ½ pound of extra-lean ground beef over medium heat. As it cooks, sprinkle it with black pepper, 2 teaspoons of chili powder, and a couple dashes of Tabasco. Place the cooked beef, one diced tomato, and 2 tablespoons of low-fat cheese over a bed of lettuce, and top with salsa.


Bones


Bones are a lot like reclusive coworkers; until one snaps, you aren't likely to give them much thought. Drink two 8-ounce glasses of vitamin D-fortified low-fat milk every day. This provides your body with 600 milligrams (mg) of calcium and 5 micrograms (mcg) of vitamin D, the perfect combination of nutrients to build break-resistant bones. Plus, in a 20-year study, U.K. researchers determined that men who drink more than 6 ounces of milk a day have half the risk of stroke of men who drink less.

Belly

By snacking on the right foods—those that are low in sugar but rich in protein—you'll keep your metabolic furnace stoked, and be less likely to binge between meals. Have one slice of hard or semihard cheese—for instance, Cheddar, Swiss, or provolone—two or three times a day. Cheese has 7 grams of protein per slice and contains no sugar. That means it doesn't raise blood-sugar levels, so your body stays in fat-burning mode. Want an alternative? Opt for a cup of low-fat plain yogurt or a stick of beef jerky.

When it comes to keeping your sex sessions going long and strong, a certain amino acid known as L-Arginine may be man's best friend. "L-Arginine works like Viagra by increasing nitric oxide to help relax blood vessels and allow more blood flow to the penis," says Marrena Lindberg, author of The Orgasmic Diet. Some studies suggest that getting three grams a day could make for better erections. Many foods high in good-for-you omega 3s are also high in L-Arginine, such as free-range game, seafood, walnuts, and sesame seeds. Plus, omega 3s help your body better absorb L-Arginine, according to a study in Nutrition & Metabolism. There are no RDA guidelines for how much L-Arginine you should have, but Lindberg recommends getting your daily fix by eating omega-3 packed protein such as free-range beef and chicken, or fatty fish like salmon.

Use these fail-safe tactics to convert your jangly nerves into performance-boosting allies

How anxiety shows: You completely blank on your key points and stumble over your explanations.
Your strategy: Befriend your fear. Just before you go on, steal away to the bathroom or your office and take inventory of this groundswell of nerves. "Nerves are normal. The problems arise when people try to ignore them," says the psychologist Robert Rosen, Ph.D., author of Just Enough Anxiety. Acknowledging your fear helps you manage it.  It's like being aware of your body before a big game. "Suddenly, it's just the right amount of anxiety for healthy excitement and power," Rosen says.

A party full of strangers
How anxiety shows: You develop a case of wallflower syndrome.
Your strategy: Make it a game: See how many people you can meet in half an hour. Stand back, pick your spots, and then attack. Start by striking up conversations with people standing on the outskirts of a larger group or conversation circle. By secretly including everyone in the game, you're not adrift in a sea of strangers. Instead, you're compartmentalizing each social subgroup into a task, says Paul J. Rosch, M.D., president of the American Institute of Stress. A surefire conversation starter: "How do you know the host?"

A job interview
How anxiety shows: You talk at breakneck speed and appear desperate.
Your strategy: Interview the interviewer. When you're up for your dream job or one that takes you a step closer to it, anxiety has a way of throwing fuel on the eagerness fire and making you seem needy. Reverse the roles, says Rosch. Yes, you want to be agreeable, but make the boss sell you on the position. Prompt him or her with penetrating questions that go beyond the norm. Ask about hurdles the department or company faced when it tried to make a recent change, or the qualities and skills you'll need in order to take the boss's job in 5 years. These show passion and ambition and will force your interviewer to give you an on-the-ground view of the company's culture.

Your strategy: See, smell, hear, and feel it in your mind. You already know to visualize your shot, but you may not know how detailed that vision should be, says Rosen. The more sensory details you pack in, the more your scenario becomes an actual rehearsal instead of a mental exercise of hope that only amps the pressure. In addition to seeing the ball go in, feel the heat of the sun, hear the traffic, smell the cut grass, hear the ball hit the cup, and feel the breeze on your face as you walk toward the hole, triumphant.

8 Foods You Should Eat Every Day : Spinach, Yogurt, Tomatoes, Carrots,  Blueberries, Black Beans, Walnuts, Oats



Spinach
It may be green and leafy, but spinach is no nutritional wallflower. This noted muscle builder is a rich source of plant-based omega-3s and folate, which help reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and osteoporosis. Bonus: Folate also increases blood flow to the nether regions, helping to protect you against age-related sexual issues. And spinach is packed with lutein, a compound that fights macular degeneration. Aim for 1 cup fresh spinach or 1/2 cup cooked per day.
Substitutes: Kale, bok choy, romaine lettuce

FIT IT IN: Make your salads with spinach; add spinach to scrambled eggs; drape it over pizza; mix it with marinara sauce and then microwave for an instant dip.

PINCH HITTER: Sesame Stir-Braised Kale > Heat 4 cloves minced garlic, 1 Tbsp. minced fresh ginger, and 1 tsp. sesame oil in a skillet. Add 2 Tbsp. water and 1 bunch kale (stemmed and chopped). Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Drain. Add 1 tsp. soy sauce and 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds.



Yogurt
Various cultures claim yogurt as their own creation, but the 2,000-year-old food's health benefits are not disputed: Fermentation spawns hundreds of millions of probiotic organisms that serve as reinforcements to the battalions of beneficial bacteria in your body. That helps boost your immune system and provides protection against cancer. Not all yogurts are probiotic, though, so make sure the label says "live and active cultures." Aim for 1 cup of the calcium and protein-rich goop a day.

SUBSTITUTES: Kefir, soy yogurt

FIT IT IN: Yogurt topped with blueberries, walnuts, flaxseed, and honey is the ultimate breakfast--or dessert. Plain low-fat yogurt is also a perfect base for creamy salad dressings and dips.

HOME RUN: Power Smoothie > Blend 1 cup low-fat yogurt, 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries, 1 cup carrot juice, and 1 cup fresh baby spinach for a nutrient-rich blast.



Tomatoes
There are two things you need to know about tomatoes: Red are the best, because they're packed with more of the antioxidant lycopene, and processed tomatoes are just as potent as fresh ones, because it's easier for the body to absorb the lycopene. Studies show that a diet rich in lycopene can decrease your risk of bladder, lung, prostate, skin, and stomach cancers, as well as reduce the risk of coronary artery disease. Aim for 22 mg of lycopene a day, which is about eight red cherry tomatoes or a glass of tomato juice.

SUBSTITUTES: Red watermelon, pink grapefruit, Japanese persimmon, papaya, guava

FIT IT IN: Pile on the ketchup and Ragú; guzzle low-sodium V8 and gazpacho; double the amount of tomato paste called for in a recipe.

PINCH HITTER: Red and Pink Fruit Bowl > Chop 1 small watermelon, 2 grapefruits, and 1 papaya. Garnish with mint.



Carrots
 Most red, yellow, or orange vege- tables and fruits are spiked with carotenoids--fat-soluble compounds that are associated with a reduction in a wide range of cancers, as well as reduced risk and severity of inflammatory conditions such as asthma and rheumatoid arthritis--but none are as easy to prepare, or have as low a caloric density, as carrots. Aim for 1/2 cup a day.

SUBSTITUTES: Sweet potato, pumpkin, butternut squash, yellow bell pepper, mango

FIT IT IN: Raw baby carrots, sliced raw yellow pepper, butternut squash soup, baked sweet potato, pumpkin pie, mango sorbet, carrot cake

PINCH HITTER: Baked Sweet Potato Fries > Scrub and dry 2 sweet potatoes. Cut each into 8 slices, and then toss with olive oil and paprika. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350°F. Turn and bake for 10 minutes more.



Blueberries
 Host to more antioxidants than any other North American fruit, blueberries help prevent cancer, diabetes, and age-related memory changes (hence the nickname "brain berry"). Studies show that blueberries, which are rich in fiber and vitamins A and C, also boost cardiovascular health. Aim for 1 cup fresh blueberries a day, or 1/2 cup frozen or dried.

SUBSTITUTES: Acai berries, purple grapes, prunes, raisins, strawberries

FIT IT IN: Blueberries maintain most of their power in dried, frozen, or jam form.

PINCH HITTER: Acai, an Amazonian berry, has even more antioxidants than the blueberry. Try acai juice from Sambazon or add 2 Tbsp. of acai pulp to cereal, yogurt, or a smoothie.



Black Beans
All beans are good for your heart, but none can boost your brain power like black beans. That's because they're full of anthocyanins, antioxidant compounds that have been shown to improve brain function. A daily 1/2-cup serving provides 8 grams of protein and 7.5 grams of fiber. It's also low in calories and free of saturated fat.

SUBSTITUTES: Peas, lentils, and pinto, kidney, fava, and lima beans

FIT IT IN: Wrap black beans in a breakfast burrito; use both black beans and kidney beans in your chili; puree 1 cup black beans with 1/4 cup olive oil and roasted garlic for a healthy dip; add favas, limas, or peas to pasta dishes.

HOME RUN: Black Bean and Tomato Salsa > Dice 4 tomatoes, 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic, 2 jalapeños, 1 yellow bell pepper, and 1 mango. Mix in a can of black beans and garnish with 1/2 cup chopped cilantro and the juice of 2 limes.



Walnuts
 Richer in heart-healthy omega-3s than salmon, loaded with more anti-inflammatory polyphenols than red wine, and packing half as much muscle-building protein as chicken, the walnut sounds like a Frankenfood, but it grows on trees. Other nuts combine only one or two of these features, not all three. A serving of walnuts--about 1 ounce, or 7 nuts--is good anytime, but especially as a postworkout recovery snack.

SUBSTITUTES: Almonds, peanuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts

FIT IT IN: Sprinkle on top of salads; chop and add to pancake batter; spoon peanut butter into curries; grind and mix with olive oil to make a marinade for grilled fish or chicken.

HOME RUN: Mix 1 cup walnuts with 1/2 cup dried blueberries and 1/4 cup dark chocolate chunks.



Oats
 The éminence grise of health food, oats garnered the FDA's first seal of approval. They are packed with soluble fiber, which lowers the risk of heart disease. Yes, oats are loaded with carbs, but the release of those sugars is slowed by the fiber, and because oats also have 10 grams of protein per 1/2-cup serving, they deliver steady, muscle-friendly energy.

SUBSTITUTES: Quinoa, flaxseed, wild rice

FIT IT IN: Eat granolas and cereals that have a fiber content of at least 5 grams per serving. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp. ground flaxseed on cereals, salads, and yogurt.

PINCH HITTER: Quinoa Salad > Quinoa has twice the protein of most cereals, and fewer carbs. Boil 1 cup quinoa in 2 cups of water. Let cool. In a large bowl, toss it with 2 diced apples, 1 cup fresh blueberries, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, and 1 cup plain fat-free yogurt.
